journal01, my first attempt to make a hackintosh installer for dell D610

Today i'll be making a hackintosh installer out of a USB flashdisk, i have a mac i'll be using it to make one. Since I am gonna install it on a Dell D610 i'll be just using the 10.6 cause it compatibility with older hardware settings, it'll be the 10.6 snow leopard.
I'll use unibeast form tonymacx86. It was going smooth until a wizard says it fails. I am not gonna tell you why, cause even i dont know what cause it. So this is how it goes, I open the unibeast and after a few "continue" clicks it comes to this screen.

As you can see above it has list of 4 option, after i read it and it comes to mind; "the unibeast doesnt have a leopard or leopard option since i use a 10.6.6". I'll just going to experiment, and pick the first choice. which resulted into this;

Well, i didnt put my hopes high anyway. and so i use "Myhack" instead, and it goes well. It has the 10.6.6 option and just click away.

So i mount the leohazard .iso and "myhack" looks for it automatically and continue to install it, now for some reason the loader screen shows this below.

you can see at the bottom it says 317 MB out if 259 MB 122% which is somehow "feels" wrong, it load kinda slow and it has no sign of working or processing. So i go to "finder" and i look over the storage capacity. Over time, the capacity of the new labeled "myhack OS installdisk" adds up a little, this is a sign its working (horray) and it goes successfully. The bootloader usually comes with every distros except you use the retail installer then you'll be needing one (you can check it out here)

So lesson learned today is you should preferably use "My hack" and you should find a way of finding out if its processing by looking into "finder" next step is i gonna test it on my PC, you see directly here. Thanks for reading, you can leave a comment in comment section below.
